Born and raised in South Louisiana, I came to Baton Rouge in 1998 to attend LSU. While I had a great time in my tenure at LSU, I finished my studies at Nicholls in Thibodaux. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies with minors in Sociology, Humanities and Studio Art. I am an alumni of Delta Zeta Sorority and past member of the Baton Rouge Junior League. After college, I moved to Dallas where I got my dream job that “a million girls would kill for” working in the fashion industry. After I had my son I came back home to Baton Rouge where I raise my two children, Cooper and Sarah Grace. I also currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats that keep me very busy. Sarah Grace desperately wants a guinea pig but I keep telling her that our zoo is at maximum capacity. When I was growing up my mother always taught me to help others. As a teacher she always tutored kids who needed extra help in school. She refused to teach in private school because she felt the public school children needed her more. I tutored for extra money when I was in college. Shaping kids and seeing their faces when they accomplished seemingly impossible things was an amazing feeling. We volunteered with Meals On Wheels, TARC and Domestic Violence. The IRIS Domestic Violence Center is a Non-Profit organization that I hold close to my heart. I’m a member of the Board Of Directors where I’m currently serving as Secretary of the Executive Committee. We help domestic violence victims and their children with safe housing, legal council and finding employment (or school) to start a fresh life. I grew up in the Lutheran Church, went to Catholic school and my kids are baptized Methodist… I well versed in the various Christian methodologies. God has shaped my path and continues shaping it every day. I live life with a servant mindset. (I’m not perfect; I know.) Always having a passion for Real Estate and Design, in 2016 I became a licensed REALTOR®. As a full time REALTOR® I’ve been in the top 15% of the entire Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors for the last three years and a Top Producer with Keller Williams. I’m a two time Keller Williams BOLD graduate and have won the Triple Gold Award in 2017 and 2018 (I’ll find out 2019 numbers shortly.) I love helping people in their home journey! It’s pure joy when they find the perfect place and/or when they sell what they’ve outgrown.
